About Me

I am a stay at home mom of two sweet boys.  Most of my time is spent creating exciting learning opportunities for them, crocheting and sewing, baking interesting concoctions that intrigue me, and keeping up with the mess my life creates.
August 22, 2008 Daddy Cakes and I were married in a quaint little park outside of Lowell, Oregon. 
In 2010 we welcomed Monster child, our first red-headed boy, into the world and just last year, 2012, Monkey boy was born.  Both boys are a lot of fun, more work than I could have ever imagined, and each have their own unique personalities.
We live in a split-level suburban home in a small city surrounded by vineyards in the green Pacific Northwest.  Our days consist of walks downtown, adventures in our backyard, homeschooling preparedness at our kitchen table, crafting and playing in the basement, and experimenting in the kitchen.  I hope our experiences inspire your lives and bring a smile to your face.
